RESET Air is the world’s first sensor-based, performance-driven building certification program where indoor air quality is monitored and measured in real-time. Buildings and/or spaces are required to consistently maintain healthy indoor air quality at all times, as defined by the Standard. RESET Air is comprised of comprehensive standards for hardware or sensor performance, installation, maintenance and data communication.
Attaining RESET Air Certified status is based on passing both a Site Audit and a strict Data Audit that confirms a minimum requirement of three consecutive months of air quality maintaining RESET Air thresholds. Unlike other certification programs, RESET Air Certified status is ongoing and air thresholds must be continuously maintained.
The above air quality indicators and thresholds are based on industry best-practices and international standards. Targets are requisite for the projects pursuing RESET Air Certified status. Additionally, temperature and relative humidity are continuously monitored, although no specific thresholds are prescribed.
