A Call for Case Studies

May 9th, 2023 11:30

You might have noticed that the case studies we have shared recently have focused on projects pursuing the RESET Embodied Standard. This is because as RESET Embodied is still in the pilot phase, our team is much more involved in the entire RESET process of the project.

But we also want to hear more about projects that are being implemented by RESET APs.

That is why we are very excited to announce that the RESET Project Directory now supports Project Case Studies!

Introduction to Project Case Studies

The RESET Standard is a performance-based standard to monitor, track, and report the data of a built environment in real-time. The standard employs a non-prescriptive approach, focusing on high-quality continuous monitoring data collection instead of prescribing mandatory solutions.

Therefore, case studies are the best way to highlight the implementation, solutions, and learnings to take away from the project.

It also allows us to better celebrate a project and help educate the community by sharing details about the solutions and services used.

We also want to take this opportunity to celebrate and highlight all contributing teams as well, therefore, we welcome the inclusion of the names of individuals and companies that participated in the project to be included in the case studies!

Requirements for publishing case studies on the RESET Project Directory include the following:

  • The case study must be about a RESET Project

  • The case study must be approved to be displayed on the Project page by the project owner or the project's RESET AP by proxy.

An Updated Project Directory

In addition to introducing project case studies, we have also updated the Project Directory to highlight contributing teams with the ability to add links and logos.

The possible list of contributing teams includes:

  • At the Project Level:

    • Architects

    • Interior Design

    • HVAC Engineers

    • Other Project Consultants

  • For RESET Air:

    • AP Affiliated Company

    • IAQ Monitor Installer

    • IAQ Solutions Provider

    • Other IAQ Consultants

All of this can be added by the RESET AP or anybody with permission to access the project in the RESET Cloud.

Next Steps and Submission Process

If you have a case study that you're interested in writing, reach out to us at info@reset.build. We will provide you with instructions on how to write it in the RESET Cloud, including adding images and links. There can be more than one case study per project.

Additionally, we would love to highlight and share case studies with the community, so would be extremely happy to work with projects and publish it in the RESET Newsroom and other social media.

There is a lot of collective knowledge in the community and we want to provide a way to share it. We sincerely look forward to hearing your stories and learning from them.
