(November 21, 2017) -- The International WELL Building Institute™ (IWBI™), the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI), and GIGA have announced a strategic partnership to usher in a new era of materials focus, enabling and supporting the further development of performance-driven, healthy, green buildings.

We thrive on feedback. Every day our phones and computers connect us to information that personalizes our daily experiences. Tracking steps or purchases paints a picture that can positively influence better personal behaviors. Building integrated technologies and cloud infrastructure have evolved to enable buildings to provide similarly personalized feedback. Cloud-based sensors have sharply improved over the past few years enabling project teams and occupants to continuously measure building performance and quantify the impact that a building or space has on occupants' health and well-being. Measurable health metrics create a personal connection to green building that is driving the industry to prioritize and achieve healthy built results.

Join us to learn about the growing movement towards health and well-being, and the economic and social drivers behind the movement. Health-centric certification programs will be introduced to provide a background for discussion. Case studies and design and operational best practices will be introduced and debated to provide attendees with tangible principles, examples and strategies to build and operate healthy buildings and spaces.
